Philadelphia artist Nannette Acker Clark has created a sculptural series based on the spiritual journey of the soul. She specifically inspired by the philosophy practiced in the Congo, where the soul, like the sun, is thought to have four moments. Birth is dawn, the flourishing of life is noon, the end of lie his sunset, and midnight is the return to dawn as succeeding generations.
